This is nice ebony burl From Indonesia. Unique coloring and nice burl figure. I am not sure which species of ebony. Locally, they just call it ebony.

Their process uses high pressure to fully impregnate the wood fibers with a proprietary resin, which is then cured with heat to form a solid, durable matrix throughout the material.
